With the introduction of the TDMR (downdraft) and TMR (flat-draft) carburetor series, MIKUNI has set
new standards for roller-bearing flat-slide carburetors. These very elaborately manufactured
carburetors have a multitude of technical innovations, all of which have not previously been found in
a single carburetor. By using low-wear steel bearings, both on the throttle slide and the throttle slide
lever, the operating forces required are reduced to a minimum and very good controllability when
driving is ensured. The smoothbore Venturi guarantees high flow values, which lead to optimal power
output. The improved atomization in the Venturi through the hyper nozzle ensures a very direct
response from the carburetor while at the same time reducing fuel consumption. The continuously
adjustable accelerator pump also enables individual tuning. All TDMR and TMR carburettors are
equipped with a choke,so the starting and warm-up phase is a problem-free process.
