TM FLATSLIDE CARBURETORS
MIKUNI TM flat-slide carburetors were developed to replace the round-slide carburetor in certain applications. These carburetors are superior to the round-slide carburetor in terms of throttle response. The key feature of this carburetor is the slide shape. It is more aerodynamic and clearly superior to the round-slide carburetor in the lower and mid-range RPMs. The shorter overall length, made possible by the flat throttle slide, also contributes to improved throttle response and top end power. These carburetors are primarily designed for two-stroke engines, but can also be used on four-stroke engines with appropriate jetting.
